MANAGING BOARD
Article 46
The Managing Board is the UETS organ, which is managing UETS in accordance with the Law and this Statute.
Article 47
The Managing Board consists 7 members. The President, Vice-President and the Secretary-General of UETS are members of Managing Board in accordance with their functions. The other four members of Managing Board are elected by Assembly on a proposal of the UETS Coordination Board from the rank of active and prominent members of UTS and its members.
Article 48
The duration of Managing Board members mandate is four years, with possibility of re-election.
It is possible to add up to 1/3 of Managing Board members during a mandate in accordance with the needs and at the proposal of President if elected member is not active or cannot participate in its work for good reasons. The mandate of on this way elected members of Managing Board is to be verified by UETS Assembly on first meeting.
Article 49
The Managing Board is carrying out the following jobs within its rights and duties:
takes care of implementation of program of work and realization of established UETS aims and tasks;
establishes the proposal of annual operational program and plan and makes financial plan of incomes and expenditures;
adopts an annual balance sheet and annual report on work;
prepares and summons the UETS Assembly meetings;
proposes a candidate for president or vice-president on the basis of submitted proposals;
establishes and implements the programs of UETS international cooperation;
carries out the admission of new members into the UETS membership;
makes decision on awards, granted by the UETS and proposes members for state, expert and other awards and decorations;
makes decision on spending the funds for major jobs and activities, which are not established by the financial plan and which are not within the competence of UETS legal representative;
makes decision on investment and current maintenance, procurement and amortization of equipment and office furniture;
makes more important decisions on use of the Houses of Engineers and relationships with lessees and decisions on using of business premises by UETS members;
adopts the Regulations on work of the Development center, Regulations on publishing activities, Regulations in relation with the jobs of security, fire protection, house rules, accounting and financial jobs and the Regulations on work, organization and systematization of jobs and tasks of workers of Expert service on a proposal of Secretary General
appoints the Manager of Development center, President of the Board for Specialist`s exams, Editor - in -chief and Editorial Board of the magazine "Tehnika", members of the Editorial Board and members of the Commission on fire protection;
decides on requests and appeals of members at the first instance and Expert service employees at the second instance;
makes decision on providing support to its members and other legal and natural persons;
adopts Annual Report of Inventory
appoints the Secretary-General of UETS;
decision making on UETS joining international professional and other organizations;
adopts the Rules of Procedure on operation;
carries out other jobs within the UETS competence, entrusted by the Assembly.
Article 50
The Managing Board is working at the sessions, called and chaired by the President of UETS, or in case of his absence, Vice-President, Secretary General or a member of Managing Board, authorized by the President.
The sessions of Managing Board are held on needs basis, at least four times a year.
The Managing Board is making valid decisions if more than 50% of members of Managing Board are present and by majority of votes of present members.
The Managing Board is responsible for his work to the Assembly of UETS.
Article 51
The UETS organs, may form permanent or temporary working bodies as their accessory organs.
The composition, rights and duties of working bodies are established by the UETS organ, which has formed them.
